Gencydo 5% (8 Ampoules) - Weleda

Gencydo 5% is a natural medicine used to treat allergic diseases.

Indications:

• Prevention and treatment of allergic diseases
• Allergic rhinitis
• Allergic diseases of the respiratory tract, for example, pollinosis (allergy to plant pollen)

Usage:

You can use Gencydo as a solution for subcutaneous injection or for inhalation.

• Prophylactic Phase: 1 ml of injectable solution for subcutaneous injection 1-2 times a week. For prophylactic purposes, the use of Gencydo is started as early as January or February if possible. Prophylactic treatment should be carried out as a course over several years, starting in early spring.
• Therapeutic Phase: 1 ml of Gencydo 5% for subcutaneous injection once a day. Subcutaneous injections are preferably administered in the nape of the neck or on the outer surface of the arm.
• Inhalation: Performed with the help of an inhaler. For inhalation, use 1-2 ml of injectable solution 1-2 times a day. According to the manufacturer's and attending physician's instructions, the injectable solution can be diluted with saline in a 1:1 to 1:2 ratio.

For children under 10 years of age, inhalation is used instead of injections (the child should inhale as many times as their age). For those over 10 years of age, inhalation can also be used in addition to injections during the acute stage.

Contraindications:

Increased hypersensitivity to citrus.
