Kephalodoron 5% (100 Tablets) - Weleda

Kephalodoron is used for headaches caused by blood vessels, migraines, complaints after a concussion, and nervous exhaustion.

Usage:

Do not take this product if:

• You have siderosis or hemochromatosis.
• You have diseases accompanied by an increased breakdown of red blood cells (chronic hemolysis).
• You are hypersensitive to wheat starch or any other component.
• An infant under 1 year of age, due to the honey content, or a child from 1 to 5 years of age.

During pregnancy and lactation, Kephalodoron should only be taken after consulting with a doctor.

Treatment for an acute illness should be completed within 2 weeks. If your condition does not improve within 3 days, consult a doctor. For chronic illnesses, a doctor's consultation is necessary to determine the duration of treatment. Additionally, for recurring, prolonged, or unclear complaints, you should consult a doctor.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the dosage is as follows:

• Adults and adolescents over 12 years of age: 1-2 tablets 1-3 times a day.
• Children from 5 years of age: 1 tablet 1-3 times a day.

Kephalodoron tablets should be swallowed whole with water. If you chew them, the iron content may stain your teeth and leave a metallic taste.

If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.

Wheat starch can cause hypersensitivity reactions. When taking Kephalodoron tablets, your stool may darken in color; this is due to the iron content and is completely safe. In rare cases, patients with a sensitive stomach may experience a feeling of heaviness after taking Kephalodoron tablets.
