Weleda Heilsalbe - Weleda

Weleda's Heilsalbe (Healing Ointment) has a wide range of uses. The product is effective for superficial wounds and inflammatory and purulent skin conditions (e.g., boils and abscesses). It is also recommended during lactation for soothing and treating irritated or cracked nipples after breastfeeding.

Ingredients:

The combination of calendula, woodruff, Peru balsam, larch resin, and a metallic stibium preparation enhances their individual healing properties, offering a multi-faceted effect. For example, in the case of a boil, it draws out, matures, and expels the purulent contents. For superficial damage to nipples, it shows anti-inflammatory and skin-regenerating properties.

Important Information:

The product contains Peru balsam and sesame oil.

Usage:

Weleda Heilsalbe is used during lactation after breastfeeding. After each application, it is recommended to wash the nipple with warm water before feeding the baby to ensure no ointment residue remains on the skin.

Unless otherwise instructed, you can apply it to the damaged skin surface 1-3 times a day.
