Calendula-Essenz (50 ml) - Weleda

Calendula Essence is used for cleaning and providing first aid for open wounds, especially if the wound is dirty. The calendula extract, with its anti-inflammatory properties, reduces swelling, inhibits the growth of microbes, and promotes rapid wound healing. Additionally, diluted calendula essence is used as a rinse to treat inflammation of the gums and oral mucous membranes.

Indications:

• Wounds and superficial inflammatory diseases
• Wounds that are difficult to heal and purulent processes
• Rinsing of wounds and mucous membranes

Usage:

To bandage and wash wounds, dissolve 1-2 teaspoons of Weleda's Calendula Essence in 1/4 liter of cool, boiled water. For an oral rinse, dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of essence in 1/2 a cup of warm, boiled water.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to plants of the Asteraceae family.
