Cardiodoron RH (100 Tablets) - Weleda

The fields of use for Cardiodoron® RH tablets include: disorders of vegetative rhythms and their coordination, primarily heart rhythm disturbances, sleep disorders, a feeling of discomfort in the heart area (dyscardia), and uneven blood circulation with fluctuating blood pressure (orthostatic regulation disorders), as well as functional disorders of the heart and circulation during and after infectious diseases.

Usage:

• You should not take Cardiodoron® RH if you have a hypersensitivity (allergy) to primroses or wheat starch.
• In case of pain in the heart area that radiates to the arms, upper abdomen, or throat, as well as in cases of shortness of breath, a medical examination is immediately necessary. For prolonged or recurring symptoms, consult a doctor.
• Like all other medicines, Cardiodoron® RH should only be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding after consulting with a doctor.
• This medicine contains lactose. Therefore, if you know you have an intolerance to certain sugars, you should only take it after consulting with a doctor.
• This medicine contains only a very small amount of gluten from wheat starch. It is considered to be gluten-free, and if you have celiac disease, the likelihood of it causing problems is extremely low. One tablet contains no more than 2.0 micrograms of gluten. If you have a wheat allergy (which is not the same as celiac disease), you should not take this medicine.

Unless otherwise prescribed by a doctor, the dosage is as follows:

• Adolescents and adults: 1-2 tablets
• Children from 6 to 12 years: 1 tablet
• Children under 6 years: 1/2 tablet
• Infants with difficulty sucking: 1/2 tablet

For all age groups, the medicine is taken 1-3 times a day. Infants are given a single dose before each feeding. Cardiodoron® RH is taken before meals, possibly with water. Children under 6 years of age take the tablets in crushed form or dissolved in water or tea. For infants, the tablets are dissolved in a small amount of tea.

The duration of treatment is determined by the attending physician. No interactions with other medicines are known.

If you miss a dose, do not take a double dose.
