Husten elixier (100 ml) - Weleda

Weleda Hustenelixier, also known as Cough Elixir, soothes coughing attacks, has a secretolytic effect, eases expectoration, and helps to clear the respiratory tract of viruses and bacteria.

Indications:

Used for acute catarrhal inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract, to facilitate the expectoration of thick mucus, and to relieve coughing.

Important Information:

Weleda's Cough Elixir should not be used if you are hypersensitive to anise, anethole, thyme, other Lamiaceae, birch, mugwort, celery, or any other ingredient.

Due to its sugar content, the product should not be used by individuals with diabetes. It is also not for use in infants under 1 year of age, as there is insufficient documented experience.

Usage:

• For children 6 years and older and adults, administer 5 ml of the elixir every 3 hours.
• For children 1 to 5 years of age, administer 1.25-2.5 ml three times a day.

The elixir is best taken dissolved in warm tea. After pouring the elixir, clean the neck of the bottle to prevent the cap from sticking due to crystallized sugar.

Treatment should be completed within two weeks. If the condition does not improve within 2-5 days, consult a doctor. The duration of treatment for chronic illnesses should also be determined in consultation with a doctor.

Storage Conditions:

After the bottle is first opened, store the product in the refrigerator at a temperature of 2-8ºC.
